Legislative Subcommittee

The NASP Legislative Subcommittee meets weekly on Tuesdays at 9:00am CST via Zoom.  Please email alana@neserviceproviders.org if you'd like to join.  

All NASP members, their lobbyists, and NASP related industry business partners are welcome.  

 

IMPORTANT BILLS for 2022 Nebraska Legislative Session:

LB893 - Stinner - Appropriate funds for provider rate increases for developmental disability services

LB1172 - Hilkemann - Appropriate federal (ARPA) funds for rate increases for certain providers of developmental disabilities services

LB1004 - Arch - Require the Department of Health and Human Services to provide for an evaluation of the developmental disabilities system

LB1243 - Murman - Change priorities relating to funding the Medicaid home and community-based services waivers for persons with developmental disabilities

LB376 - Cavanaugh - Authorize services and supports for children with developmental disabilities and their families and provide duties for the Advisory Committee on Developmental Disabilities

LB785 - Groene - Change provisions relating to early voting (which will limit Vote By Mail. This is a crucial tool for people with disabilities)
