Related Industry Partners
NASP warmly welcomes those who seek to join our advocacy efforts and shape the industry through public policy.
Our Related Industry Partners are businesses, organizations or public entities who share similar missions, visions and goals. This partnership is an opportunity to become more positive agents of change, support community providers across the state of Nebraska, and join the quest to help the people they serve lead more fulfilling lives.
1. Communication: Stay updated with the community provider industry by receiving NASP newsletters. Resources include summaries and explanations of regulatory and legislative changes, updates, as well as industry rules and policies.
2. Networking: Related Industry Partners are invited to join our monthly NASP meetings. Meetings offer a direct audience with Nebraska's Director of Developmental Disabilities, guest speakers who are experts in the field, and the chance to problem solve and brainstorm with providers statewide.
3. Teamwork: Related industry Partners are encouraged to participate in NASP subcommittees that target specific areas of focus. We currently have active Legislative and Supported Employment subcommittees. We hope to activate an Education and Training subcommittee soon. As community needs change, so do we. Ad Hoc committees may quickly form in response to current events.
4. Progress: Relationships with key local, state and national policymakers are developed in a single, unified voice.
